Who’s ready for some pasta!?!

Pasta is one of your most requested dishes, and we know why!

I think we are all pasta lovers at heart. ❤️

Besides being delicious, pasta is satisfying, affordable, versatile, nutritious, and simple to make. Pasta comes in many, many different styles and shapes, too! Did you know that in Italy there are over 600 different pasta shapes and new ones being created every day!?!

We like to think of pasta as a blank slate, and that’s why it’s so much fun for us to come up with new pasta dishes. You can add just about anything to it! Pasta can made with red sauce, white sauce, cheese sauce, pesto, veggies, herbs, spices, beans, greens, potatoes—the possibilities are endless. It’s great hot, or cold—think pasta salad—and everyone loves it, so it’s always a crowd pleaser.

And, you don’t have to be a chef to create delicious and beautiful, yet simple pasta dishes, like the 3 new and fabulous creations that we’re giving you this week to try.

Not only do they feature our beloved pasta as the main attraction, but they are unique and delicious.

This week we give you: Wine Thyme Farfalle, Spaghetti Pie with Garlic Bread Crumble, and Smarty Helper!

Along with these fabulous dishes, we’ve some added a super tasty and versatile component as well—Italian Sausage-Style Meat Sauce!


Wine Thyme Farfalle 
Our mom and her husband live in Florida and they are both retired. They like to sit on their front patio and have wine with little nibbles before dinner and to watch the sunset. They call it “wine time”. They even have a bell mounted on the side of their pool that they ring when they have guests staying with them to get everyone out of the pool and dried off in time for “wine time”. Since this recipe highlights white wine and fresh thyme, it felt like a great name for this Farfalle. The sauce is creamy, but light, and the mushrooms, freshy thyme and hint of white wine give it great flavor.

Spaghetti Pie with Garlic Bread Crumble
How fun is this? Spaghetti, turned into a thick pie that you can slice! We mix cooked spaghetti with our Italian Sausage-Style Meat Sauce, load it up with our cheesy Cashew Mozzarella and bake it in the oven. We also add a Garlic Bread Crumble which is the perfect topping to give our Pie some garlicky crunch. Hello, deep dish pasta!

Smarty Helper
Remember Hamburger Helper? How could any of us forget the little singing white glove: “Hamburger helper, when you need a helping hand!” As kids, we were so excited when our mom made this quick and delicious meal. It was full of cheese, ground beef and macaroni pasta! And, it was super tasty. The only downside was that it was not very nutritious. Our SmartyHelper is not only super delicious—creamy, cheesy with great beefy texture—it’s 100% plant food and loaded with nutrients. While the kiddies are gobbling this up, they will also be nourishing their little bodies. They are going to love it, and so will you.

Italian Sausage-Style Meat Sauce
We mixed our beloved Italian Sausage-Style Crumbles with a delicious tomato sauce, added a touch of fennel and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for kicks, and came up with a mouth-watering new sauce. It’s the star of our Spaghetti Pie, but also great simply mixed with your favorite pasta or even as a sauce for pizza.
