BBQ Corn Ribs with Peach Mango BBQ Sauce
Corn ribs are fun to eat and delicious! Our Peach Mango BBQ Sauce is subtly fruity, but also sweet and tangy, and it clings to the grilled ribs really nicely. Corn ribs actually curl up slightly as they cook, and when you pick them up, hold them by the ends and nibble away, you feel like you’re getting a finger-licking rib experience!

Mac 'n Jack
We took our beloved Pepper Jack Cheese and mixed it with elbow “mac”, sautéed jalapeño peppers, onions and garlic to create our creamy and satisfying Mac ‘n Jack. It has a deliciously mild cheesy flavor and a spicy kick! This sassy side dish pairs great with smoky flavors, so make sure to introduce it to your guests at your next summer BBQ.

Sugar Snap Pea Salad with Sweet Ginger Dressing
Sugar snap peas, Napa cabbage and radishes come together to make a fantastic, crispy, crunchy, sweet and spicy salad when topped with our delicious Sweet Ginger Dressing and chopped peanuts. Wow!

Yum Yum Sauce
Yum Yum Sauce is not traditionally Japanese, but it is a very popular sauce served at Japanese hibachi restaurants. It was created by Terry Ho, who owned a casual hibachi restaurant called Hibachi Express. The sauce was in such high demand that he decided to bottle it, and then it took off and became very well-known. Tangy, savory, sweet and creamy, our plant-strong version of this fabulous pink sauce is fantastic on burgers and wraps and even as a dipping sauce for baked fries! Yum, yum!

A slaw that tastes like dill pickles? What could be better! Crispy, crunchy, dilly and delicious—this tangy slaw is a great burger topper and also a fantastic side to any BBQ dish.

In Episode 2 of our podcast, we talk about the SAD diet (Standard American Diet) and fast-food and how many health issues arise from eating this way. But, that doesn’t mean we plant-passionate people don’t yearn to have some of those flavors back in our lives. So, we thought we’d have some fun and re-create some of the popular menu items from a few of the top fast-food restaurants, the SmartyPlants way!🌱🌱

This fun meal plan will take you back to those carefree days of your youth—driving around with friends in your parent’s car and hitting the drive-throughs—McDonald's, Taco Bell, Arby’s and Kentucky Fried Chicken. There’s nothing like a little nostalgia to get us all warm and fuzzy, and we’re hoping this meal plan will do the same for you.

We plant-based eaters can indulge it “fun” food too, that has all of the flavors of our old favorites, and none of the harmful effects caused by meat, dairy, oil and whatever else is added to fast food.
