Crunchy Baked Taco Shells

Makes 6 shells
Avoid the oil and bake your own! We use whole corn tortillas, and simply crisp them up in the oven. Easy-peasy, crunchy, and delicious.


6 medium corn tortillas


  1. Preheat the oven to 350° F. Lay the tortillas directly onto the middle oven rack, draping each one over 2 bars. This will make a nice, crispy taco shell shape. You can also just lay them on flat for tostadas.

  2. Use oven mitts to avoid burns while laying and removing your shells!

  3. Bake them for 10-12 minutes or until they turn golden brown. Keep an eye on them so they don’t burn! Test for crispiness. Remove them from the oven and let them cool a bit before filling them.
