First, preheat your oven to 350° F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Cut each pita into 4 small triangles, just like you would cut a pizza.
Spread the pita triangles around on the baking sheet so they are lying flat and not touching. Lightly squeeze some lemon over each one—don’t soak them—and sprinkle them with sea salt.
Bake them for 20-25 minutes, or until crispy. Test one after 20 minutes and if it’s still pliable, leave them in for another couple of minutes or so to get crunchy. They will also get crunchier as they cool.
Serve with Our Favorite Hummus, or throw them into salads for some added crunch!
If your pitas are on the larger side, cut them into 8 small triangles.
We like Trader Joe’s brand 100% Stone Ground Whole Wheat Pita Pockets. No oil or additives.
We like using flaky Maldon salt for these!
