Set a teapot to boil with at least a cup of water in it. Put the oats and chia seeds in a bowl. When the teapot water has boiled, add 1 cup boiling water to the oats and chia seeds. Mix it well. Let this sit until the oats absorb the water, about 5 minutes.
Add your favorite plant-based milk and cinnamon and stir it all up. Then add the banana slices, dates, a swirl of maple syrup and the walnuts. Maybe another splash of plant milk and dig in!
